Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk which is the capital city of Belarus. Sergey Her father (who passed away in the year 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was birthed in Minsk on 5 May 1998. Her twelve WTA singles wins include the Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. As a specialist of doubles, she also has won at the US Open of 2019 as and her first Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. With her, the Belgian tennis superstar, she won WTA 1000s in Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. Four women's teams were able to achieve this feat. Only four couples who achieved this feat in women's doubles. As a doubles player, she was able to propel herself to the top of the list in February of the same year after the victory in Melbourne being the first tennis player born in Belarus to make it in the sport of doubles. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) was her coach for a portion of the 2019 season and from 2018 to the closing. The pair also briefly worked with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman, has coached her for the past few years, starting in 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her heroes.
